UNECE review of innovation performance in Armenia

Dr. Annamária Inzelt, director of IKU Innovation Research Centre has been invited by the UNECE to the expert panel responsible for the innovation performance review of Armenia.

The UNECE investigation concentrated not only on the innovation system and governance in general or on the framework conditions and innovation policies and measures. It also analysed the knowledge generation and support institutions, the industry-science linkages and collaboration – done by Dr. Annamária Inzelt -, the financing of innovative enterprises and the role of innovation in international economic integration. The review formulated various recommendations in these fields for the improvement of the Armenian innovation system. The first version of the report has been discussed with Armenian officials at the UNECE Eighth Session on Economic Cooperation and Integration (Geneva, 12-14 February 2014).
